Heart attack! Don’t Panic…


The heart is one of the most important parts of human body. Nowadays many people suffer from a heart attack and heart disuses. Each year over a billion people around the world has a heart attack. About One-third of them die. Many people of them have permanent heart damage or die because they don’t get help immediately.

A heart attack occurs when your heart muscle is starved of oxygen-rich blood. Which may cause serious damage to your heart muscle. So people around the person don’t get enough to what to do. Don’t panic only previous experience or knowledge about what may do immediately when a heart attack happens can help the patient. Moreover, immediate doctor’s prescription is the foremost important things that may save the life of the patient.

Some General Symptoms:

The symptom or warning signs of heart attack are not same always and it can very person to person.

  • Chest discomfort or pain
  • Breathing problem.
  • Discomfort in the upper body – arms, shoulder, neck, back
  • Vomiting, dizziness, Nausea, lightheadedness, sweating
  • High blood pressure
  • the overwhelming feeling of anxiety
  • feeling weak or lightheaded


They are the combination of symptoms it is not important that it determining a person is having a heart attack it may not be like that. But most of the patient feels like the above symptom.

What to do?

If you feel you have a heart attack or someone else then immediately call the ambulance. You should sit straight and take a rest while you are waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Do not get you; just try to take an aspirin as soon as possible. This may put unnecessary strain on your heart. Don’t be panic just wait for the ambulance.


Causes of a heart attack:

There may many causes of heart attack. But the main cause of heart attack is Coronary heart disease (CHD). CHD is a condition which occurs when the blood vessels that supply the heart get clogged up.Thus it blocks the supply of blood to the heart, triggering a heart attack. This block creates through the deposits of cholesterol around of the heart, known as plaques.

Before a heart attack, one of the plaques bursts, causing a blood clot to develop at the site of the rupture.



Preventing a heart attack:

There are some key steps by which you can take to reduce your risk of having a heart attack. They are:

·        Quit smoking immediately

·        Take prescription of good cardiologist

·        If you are overweight try to reduce weight

·        Try to eat small and fresh food

·        Take regular exercise which given by expert

·        Maintain a healthy diet chart

·        Avoid Alcohols and drugs

Soon the healing of the heart muscle begins after a heart attack and takes about eight weeks. The heart’s wound heals simultaneously and a scar will form in the damaged area. But, the new scar tissue does not contract. Thus the heart’s pumping ability is reduced after a heart attack. The amount of lost pumping ability mainly depends on the size and location of the scar.
